Forkbat is a browser extension that enhances the NFBC (National Fantasy Baseball Championship) website with tools designed to give you an edge during the draft and throughout the season. Forkbat is not affiliated with or endorsed by NFBC.
Features
For screenshots, please visit the Chrome or Firefox page linked in the Install section below.
Draft Tool — View publicly available player projections directly within the NFBC draft room, so you can make informed picks without switching tabs. Note: Auction Room support is experimental and a work in progress. If the draft tool gets in the way, you can disable it in the extension popup (on Chrome, click the puzzle piece in the browser bar and select Forkbat; on Firefox, click the Forkbat icon directly in the toolbar → toggle off Draft Tool).
Lineup Slot Indicators — See at a glance which MLB players are in the starting lineup when setting your NFBC lineup.
All Lineups Indicators — Lineup status indicators across the full NFBC all-lineups view.
Team Search — Quickly search for players by team within the NFBC Set Lineups page.
Lineup Projections (Razzball) — View Razzball projected dollar values for each player directly on the NFBC Set Lineup page. Hover over any projection badge to see a detailed breakdown: projected G (including vs. LHP/RHP), R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, and OPS for hitters; or GS, W, SV, IP, K, ERA, and WHIP for pitchers.
Requirements:
An active Forkbat subscription
An active Razzball Roto Deluxe Daily/Weekly subscription — projections are sourced directly from Razzball's Hittertron (hitters) and Streamonator (pitchers) pages, which require a Razzball Roto Deluxe Daily/Weekly subscription to access. You must be logged in to Razzball in the same browser.
Troubleshooting: if projections aren't loading, check Hittertron and Streamonator directly on Razzball.com — Forkbat reads from those pages, so if the data isn't there, it won't be available to Forkbat either. You can toggle this feature on or off in the extension popup. New Razzball subscribers may need to log out and log back in on Razzball.com after subscribing.
After installing, open the Forkbat extension popup to get started. On Chrome, click the puzzle piece icon in the toolbar and select Forkbat. On Firefox, the Forkbat icon should appear directly in the toolbar. From there, enter your email address to log in and click the link in your email. Then return to the extension popup and follow the prompt to purchase a subscription if you haven't already.
Mobile Support
Forkbat works on mobile via the Firefox extension. Note that draft room features are experimental on mobile.
iPhone — Install the Orion browser (which supports Firefox extensions), then install the Forkbat Firefox extension. Note: Orion can be finicky. If you run into issues, try toggling Forkbat off and on by tapping the Forkbat icon in the toolbar and using the toggle. You may also need to reinstall the extension to pick up updates.
Browsers update extensions automatically, usually within a day, but not always immediately. Usually you can trigger an update by quitting and reopening the browser. You can also follow the steps below to ensure you're updated. If you're missing a feature or seeing unexpected behavior, it's worth making sure you're on the latest version. Updates are announced on Twitter at @fork_bat.
Chrome — Type chrome://extensions in the browser bar, hit enter, enable Developer mode (toggle in the top-right corner), then click the Update button that appears. You can turn Developer mode back off afterward.
Firefox — Open the Firefox menu (≡), go to Extensions and themes, click the gear icon (⚙), and select Check for Updates.
Orion (iPhone) — Orion doesn't reliably auto-update extensions. The most dependable approach is to reinstall it by going to the Firefox Add-ons page and clicking "Add to Orion".
